About These Settings

What Cookies Are

Categories We Use

• Necessary — remembers your cookie choice and supports the operation and security of the website. It is used without consent only where necessary.
• Analytics — helps SOMOVS understand visits and page use through Google Analytics 4. It is used only after you select “Accept all”.
• Advertising measurement — helps measure whether a Google ad led to a website visit or enquiry. It is used only after you select “Accept all”.

SOMOVS does not use this data to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Cookies and Storage Used

• somovs_cookie_consent_v1 (cookie) — SOMOVS. Stores your cookie choice. Necessary. Retention: 180 days.
• somovs_cookie_consent_v1 (local storage) — SOMOVS. Mirrors the choice so it can be applied consistently. Necessary. Retention: Until changed or cleared.
• _ga — Google Analytics 4. Distinguishes visitors for website measurement. Analytics. Retention: Up to 2 years.
• _ga_<container-id> — Google Analytics 4. Maintains session state for website measurement. Analytics. Retention: Up to 2 years.
• _gcl_* — Google Ads. Records ad-click and conversion information for campaign measurement. Advertising measurement. Retention: Up to 90 days.

Browser limits or your settings may shorten these periods. Google may change the exact suffix used in a cookie name according to the measurement container.

Google Tag Manager

Google Tag Manager is used to manage website tags. It does not itself provide website analytics. It is configured so that optional Google Analytics and Google Ads tags do not set or read optional cookies until you select “Accept all”.

Your Choice

• Only necessary — optional analytics and advertising measurement remain disabled. Core website use remains available.
• Accept all — permits analytics and advertising-measurement storage described above.

Closing the banner, scrolling or continuing to browse is not treated as consent. Your choice is recorded so the banner does not need to appear on every page.

Change or Withdraw Consent

Use the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer to reopen the choice at any time. Selecting “Only necessary” withdraws consent for future optional storage and processing. It does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. You may also delete existing cookies and local storage in your browser settings.

Recipients and Transfers

When optional measurement is enabled, related data may be received by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area using an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.
